1. Introduction

1.1 This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is a contract entered into between You (“you,” “your,” “yours”) and thebestpaystubs.com, LLC, a corporation (“we,” “us,” “our,” “The Best Paystubs”). This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service, describes the information about you we collect, how we collect it, and how we use it, and forms a binding agreement between you and The Best Paystubs.

We receive Personal Information from the information that you and others provide, from your device and from our partners. The categories of sources from which we’ve collected or received Personal Information include:

  • You: We collect the content, communications, and other information you provide when you use our Software, including when you create a Document, make a payment, or otherwise communicate and share information with us.
  • Your device: We collect information from and about the computers, phones, tablets, and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Software and access The Best Paystubs.
  • Partners: Advertisers, app developers, and publishers and other partners can send us information for business purposes. These partners provide information about your activities off The Best Paystubs, including information about your device, websites you visit, things you do on their services, and purchases you make. We also receive information about your online and offline actions, and purchases from third-party data providers who have the rights to provide us with your information. Partners receive your data when you visit or use their services or through third parties they work with. You must not submit any PI relating to a third party which you do not have permission from such third party to provide to us. We do not knowingly collect any information relating to third parties which you do not have permission to provide. When you engage in certain activities on The Best Paystubs, such as creating a Document, making a payment, or sending us a message or written content via email, we may ask you to provide certain PI.

Information and Content You Provide. We collect the content, communications, data, and other information you provide when you use our Software, including when creating a Document, making a payment, and message or communicating with us. This can include information in or about the content you provide, such as the addresses and legal names.

Data with Special Protections. You can choose to provide information in the Documents you create, such as your age, your employee’s age, and social insurance numbers. This and other information (such as racial or ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership) could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.

Your Usage. We collect information about how you use our software, such as the types of Documents you view or create; the features you use; the actions you take; and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities.

Information about Transactions made on The Best Paystubs. If you use The Best Paystubs to make purchases or other financial transactions, we may collect information about the purchase or transaction. This includes payment information, such as your credit or debit card number and other card information; other account and authentication information; and billing, shipping and contact details.

Device Information. We collect information about your device attributes, operations, unique identifiers of your device, device settings, network and connections, and cookie data.

5. How we use your information.

We use the information you provide to us to support The Best Paystubs, provide better services, and continue providing the Software to you. We may:

  • Share or sell information with to third parties, including to help advertisers and other partners measure the effectiveness and distribution of their ads and services, and understand the types of people who use their services and how people interact with their websites, apps, and services.
  • Use the information we may send to you on marketing communications, to communicate with you about our services, and respond when you contact us.

6. Cookies.

Depending on how you use The Best Paystubs, we may store cookies on your computer to collect certain aggregate data about our users and to customize certain aspects of your specific user experience.

Where you request a correction, please explain in detail why you believe the personal information we hold about you to be inaccurate or incomplete so that we can assess whether a correction is required.
  • Restriction of processing to storage only: You have a right to require us to stop processing the personal information we hold about you other than for storage purposes if you believe the personal information is not accurate, outdated, or irrelevant.
  • Objection: You have the right to object to our processing of data about you and we will consider your request. 12. Privacy Rights of Children Under 13.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not market The Best Paystubs or any of our services to Children under 13. In addition, we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have any Personal Information about a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we may remove it.
